In celebration of the opening of the Fulton Center station in New York, the renowned publication The Guardian compiled a list of the most impressive and beautiful subway stations around the world.
The publication emphasized that subways are often associated with dirt and disorder. However, the Fulton Center station, which opened after a decade of construction and an investment of one billion dollars, stands out as a bright exception to this norm.
It's noteworthy that Ukrainian subway stations are always known for their cleanliness and tidiness. This is evidenced by the inclusion of the "Golden Gate" station in Kyiv in the international list of the best.
In 2013, "Golden Gate" was featured in the list of the 22 most beautiful subway stations according to The Daily Telegraph. Additionally, in the ranking of the 15 best subway stations by Bootsnall, the Kyiv station proudly secured the 11th spot.
